Family Storytime at the Sanibel Public Library
November 1 @ 10:30 am – 11:00 am
Looking for a fun, enriching activity for your family? Bring your little ones to Family Storytime at the Sanibel Public Library! This event is perfect for children aged five and under and their caregivers, offering a hands-on, interactive experience that turns learning into a family bonding activity.
What to Expect
- Engaging Storytime: Start the session with an energetic and interactive storytime, where children will be invited to sing, read, ask questions, and move around. The stories are selected to encourage a love for reading and learning, helping to build essential early literacy skills. This is a great way to introduce young children to the world of books and imaginative play.
- Hands-on Literacy Activities: After storytime, children will participate in a literacy arts and crafts center. This is an opportunity for kids to get creative and use their imaginations, all while reinforcing what they’ve learned during storytime. Craft activities help with fine motor skills, creativity, and problem-solving, making this a well-rounded experience.
- Family Bonding: Family Storytime is not just for the kids—it’s a chance for families to bond! Caregivers are encouraged to actively participate alongside their children, creating lasting memories and reinforcing the importance of reading and learning together. Drop-offs are not allowed, so be ready to fully engage with your little one throughout the program.
- No Registration Required & Free: There’s no need to register in advance, and the event is completely free! Whether you’re a regular visitor or a first-time attendee, all families are welcome to join in on the fun. Make it a weekly tradition by attending every Friday at 10:30 AM.
