2. Sanibel Island’s Lighthouse
This Lighthouse is the one of the places that you should visit while on the Sanibel Island. Located on the east of the Island, Sanibel Island’s Lighthouse encompasses the entire Island. This tourist attraction also has many facilities, such as large parking lot for beach goers, great shelling, restroom facilities, fishing pier and many more. This Lighthouse is a historical heritage of 1833.
3. J.N. Ding Darling national Wildlife Refuge
This national wild refuge is the part of the largest undeveloped mangrove ecosystem in the United States. President Harry S. Truman ordering to creating this refuge in 1945. J.N. Ding Darling national Wildlife Refuge provides important habitat to over 245 species of birds. 4. Sanibel Island Farmer’s Market
This is the favorite outdoor activity for islanders and visitors, you can visit this market from October until May. Sanibel Island Farmer’s Market located in front of Sanibel City Hall, you can find fresh produce such as seafood, local fruits and vegetables, honey, flowers, cheese and many more. It’s enjoyable Sunday outing for everyone, including well behaved dogs.
